Through metaphorical ceramic sculptures, I aim to portray this call for contemplation and connection through formal qualities such as soft geometries, organic form, negative space, scale, cold surfacing techniques, and presentation. Overall, I strive to make compelling pieces that hark back to the Hero’s Journey and my personal deep abode while visually representing elements of body and nature such as rocks and cell bodies.
