My work finds a celebration of the vagina through the intersection between plant reproduction and the human body. There are multiple pieces that are a part of the process of plant reproduction: fruit, seeds, and flowers. Throughout history and in modern popular culture, these three factors are often depicted as representations of virginity, sexuality, and fertility. I would like to mimic this traditional phenomena in my work as I cross the barrier of the body and the plant through fabric patterns.
